Midnight

In 2003 spring, one cold morning 3 kittens were found, outside Hastings Veterinary Hospital’s door, soon after clinic opening. The 3 kittens were put up for adoption into new home after complete checkup by staff and vaccination at hospital. But Midnight rapidly adopted the hospital as her home and was always keen to open cage doors. So she could sit at the front desk and greet people just as she does now. The other 2 got adapted to good homes. Since then
Midnight is the only hospital cat until “Nanu” came along. It’s always been a challenge to keep her weight down as she loves treats from the clients.

Nanu

Nanu was a longstanding patient at Hastings Veterinary Hospital & was regular due to his constipation & Mega colon problem. In January,2011. Nanu’s mom needed medical care and was unable to care for this lovely cat. Staff at Hastings veterinary hospital was already in love with him and his personality due to his stays at the hospital. While sad that Nanu would have to leave his home everyone at clinic was excited to adopt him when his Mom informed us that she was unable to adopt him out to a good home. Since coming to the clinic Nanu warmed to clinic setting as if he has always lived here. He now has split Midnight duties- as he takes care of the kennel and treatment areas while Midnight continues her favorite job sitting at front desk and greeting client.
